Harvesting vinegar eels
Here is how I was told to harvest vinegar eels Have culture Pour into 500ml volumetric flask roughly to the line Create a dacron plug.Tie some fishing line onto it Insert plug into bottle neck Push down till it is just in the culture mix Put a couple of cms of water ( from aquarium) over the plug Wait The idea is the eels come up through the dacron into the fresh water to breathe. This makes them very easy to harvest without drawing up any of the vine... -

Starting a microworm culture from a seed culture
Hi all,
I usually include a microworms seed culture along with the fish and/or eggs I send out to people. Below is what works for me in culturing microworms. I have written this short 'How to' for people who have received seed cultures of microworm from me.
