    Thanks all

And a big congrats also to whoever it is who took the pic of those racing snails with the flowing locks of hair, with small enough scissors, you could aquascape they're backs That was a great pic too, so well done too

I used a Canon 350D SLR with a Tamron 90mm macro lens, speelight 580exII positioned above the tank shining downwards and a st-e2 speedlite transmitter. Took about 80 photo's to get a few keepers, had the camera in auto, which denotes the pic was a fluke .

    Cheers,
    Cloudy

It is a great shot Cloudy - showing some interesting colours and patterns.

Just wondering if you had tried taking any shots at a smaller apperture, and thereby increasing the DOF? May have enabled getting both the body and eye in sharp focus.

Thanks again all, Feldar, I am not very skilled at photography, and had only had that new lens for a few days, so I was a little bummed about not having the eye in perfect focus, so next time I will try to increase the depth of field some more.

Roy, as far as we could work out, I think we decided that the shrimp was a Paratya A. as per this thread http://aquariumlife.com.au/showthread.php?t=3042
