Default anyone have experience with the ebay inline heaters?

    Hey Everyone,

Been looking at getting a new inline heater. Cant seem to find Hydor ones anymore. Came accross these on ebay and was wondering if anyone had any issues with these?

Same I've had two that busted and caused a mess.

There doesnt seem to be a good alternative for inline heaters anymore.

My one had this same issue :/

Would rather this than it cooking the tank like my partners, the water was steaming lol. She hasn't been into fish since, was a pretty big hit emotionally for her

One trick is to use a heater that is barely enough to heat the water. Ie remaining on all the time so that it cant fry even if it remains stuck. Otherwise you need a heater controller as secondary backup cut off.
