Your bugs are aquatic mites. They are in the group called the Hydracarina - yours are likely Oribatids. Very common in waterways. Great photos.

I had found these little bugs that are quite small, I have spent hours trying to find out what they are with no luck. I have found them here and there in my tank, and recently the population of them spiked one day. They came in on new plant's I thought I had cleared of pest's. Guess not, as I haven't had a planted tank for long i'm going through all the learning curves. I got some images of them under a microscope, around 60 to 120x zoom. One has some white on it and the other doesn't. They don't move all that fast and are easy to catch.![]()
