Tank looks fantastic Dino! You may be suffering from a little collectoritis I think lol! Just watch your temp with your A. henkelianus as they do better in cooler water. Mine went into dormancy when the temp got to 26 in summer, but came back when I did water change and used fans to cool it.

What a stunning tank. Looks like you even have a bit more room for a few carpeting species at the front

YES Dave just a little =) and thanks to you i got some more rare stuff for my tank.
The MLP went in to dormacy for a short time only after the plant tried to shoot a flower but the flower didnt make it to the top. i guess ran out of Energie =/.. now its back again
my water changes in winter dropping the temp down to 20C° for few hours and now she is back =). In summer i have a household fan connected to the multicontroller kicks in when temp goes over 26. what temp do you have your 24-25?

Congrats on the flower! I keep the tank at 23C and the MLP is happy with lots of leaves and flowers too. As it is 70cm tall, flowers dont reach the surface either and wither away.

my flower only needed about 5-10cm to the top but didnt make it. ok good to know that yours dont make it either..
hmm i will wait for another flower and see....but i guess mlp does not like to be the fast growing co2 tank, i have to move it in to my regular 4ft to have better success Henkel can chill there and focus on making pups =).

the Apono Ulvaceus and cripus have no problem pushing up 3-4ft long flowers.
