Default For Sale or Trade- Discus fish - Melbourne pick up only

This little 5 inch guy (or girl) is a bit too boisterous for the new juveniles I have. I plan on adding more but decided this fish will cause too much stress for the new fish. He's fine with the other existing "big boys" but a menace to everyone else.

Looking to sell for $80 or trade for another discus with red patterns. Must be Melbourne pick up only. Let me know if anyone is interested.

    Bump.

    Price drop $60.

Also, and this is a long shot, but does anyone have any "spare" capacity in their hospital/quarantine tanks? I have two discus turning a bit dark. I don't see anything to worry about other than their colour and I reckon it's due to the stress this orange dude is dishing out. Would be willing to sell these two ff for $20 each or ONO.

Thank you. Very kind offer. Which brings me to another question. I have an old 2 foot tank in the garage. If it can still hold water, other than the heater, what do people use for filtration in a "temporary" hospital tank? Sponge filters?

Yes I use sponge filter, seems less disruptive to the sick/new fish
That reminds me I’ve got an internal filter + heater in a small plants only tank running, not sure whether the filter can be cycled this way, but anyway you welcome to borrow those too

You're a legend. I'll pull out the 2 foot over the next couple of days and check to see if it still holds water. If not, I'll be in touch.

BTW. I assume you're in Melbourne.

Um....tell yourself you must go shopping at Chadstone, then you can pick them up on the way

But best for you would be your discus no longer need a hospital tank, or your 2 ft tank not leaking!
