    Default Need some ideas

    Hi All,

I am trying to decide on what to do with my tank.

I have cleared out all fish now except for my pair of Panduro. I should be able to raise a good sized batch now (They spawn every 2-4 weeks without fail). I am finding them a little boring though.

I need some ideas on something else to breed instead. Maybe a different Apisto or something completely different but needs to be something that i will be able to sell or is in need of more breeders to keep it in the hobby.

I have reasonablt hard tap water and a rain water tank so pretty much any Ph is possible without much effort.

Easy to care for plants so again light, temp, etc. is also quite flexible.

If I cant decide what to breed i might grow out some small Discus again instead.

    Any ideas???

I am also thinking of losing the Crinum and filling out the back a bit more......

    Cheers

Moon sand is like a glittery/shiny black, it is a quartz i think from memory and quite sharp so corys, etc will get damaged barbels. NZ Iron Sand looks nicer IMO. And is a much finer sand, but can compact over time.

    I agree Indir.

I am looking at using Pices Natural Aquairon.

Just trying to work out if 15kg would be enough. The only plants in the substrate are the Lotus' and the Crinum. I am considering selling the Crinum anyway.

Odie - It is silica pool filter sand.

I think in a small tank everything will be boring eventually. I don't know how rainbowfish will be less boring. Guess you will just go through the breeding process with different species.

    Hey Big Daddy.
If you are a bit bored with things take a look at M-Rainforest on facebook.
    Beats everything I've seen before.
