I use a Fluval G3 on my 2x2x2. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Fluval FX4. Something around 1500lph plus. I had an Eheim 2217 on a three footer and it wasn't enough flow.

    Hi,

I've got a 120W x 35H x 50D tank setup below (about 200lt). I'd start DSM few days ago and planning to flood it in about 2-3 months time. Still need to get more phoenix moss for the bonsai (only the right bonsai has some on it)

Pretty firm in getting the OF Hydra Filtration but not sure if I should get the 1000 or 1500. I wonder whether the 1500 (1500L/H pump flow rate) is too strong for my setup. Any suggestion?

1500 all the way mate. Will you run inline equipment such as CO2 reactor and heater?

Nice looking scape there. Keen to see how you progress.

    Thx Rebel ...

Heater for sure. Can the plants (monte carlo, phoenix moss & coral moss) survive without it?

CO2 - well suppose not but I'd been convinced. However CO2 seems complicated and I'd been reading up what I need & how to use them. Any suggestion?

I'll probably run DSM for 2+ months so still have time to research to source what I need to complete the setup. All suggestion is appreciated.

hi mate.. your tank looks awesome at the moment, looking forward to seeing it grow

as for CO2, at first it seems daunting but it is a very simple setup. I would suggest/recommend you have a look at CO2art for package that includes a dual stage regulator. Everything you need (apart from CO2 bottle) will be included. I would also suggest either running a inline atomizer or reactor to disperse the CO2 in your tank. For a gas bottle either get a keg king or a my keg on legs, your local home brew shop should sell them. My CO2 system cost me $480 for everything.

They may not be taking orders yet as they are in the process of releasing some you beaut system, but keep that in mind for sure

as for you LPH, 1500 is no way to big for your tank. If that is true LPH then it would cycle your water 7.5 times per hour, which is a good rate.. i have heard to aim for 10 for a good flow but a higher LPH doesnt always equate to a better flow.. but back to your question it def isnt too much

hey i have one question for you, what type of rocks are they in your scape.. i really like them
