    Default Island Dreams; 60x45x45

    Hi everyone,

This is just a teaser to make sure I get on to this project in a timely manner. Since this tank breaks the two tank rule, one of tanks will have to go. I will need to completely decommission for this to be setup. That should be enough motivation.

    Fire 60x45x45
Genuine ADA wood cabinet - gray 60x45
    Lights - Chihiros 60cm x 2 units possibly dimmed with TC420
    Filter - Aquanova 1200
    CO2 - Kegking 2.6kg with Tunze/Process systems
    Reactor - Cerges
    Dosing - Regular with autodoser
? Auto topup - maybe using the auto doser (undecided)

Substrate undecided - Maybe ADA amazonia
Hardscape - I have lots of wood, Sieryu (need to check how much) so perhaps will be double island style
Flora - Trident java, Needle java, Mini pelia, Christmas moss, MC, ?maybe HC,
Fauna - maybe shrimp only - I have never bred/kept alive any CRS so this is my ongoing goals

    New tank! Wooh! Always exciting.

I've found myself much more willing to do tank maintenance since shutting down my 3rd tank at home. Seems a 2 tank rule works for me too. Which one are you going to shut down?

Seiryu seems to raise GH and PH so bear that in mind if you're planning on CRS.

Thanks Luke. Ah I forgot about the kH issue. #$%@. I will have to get some more (lots more) lava then.

I am considering shutting down my display AR850 or even my nano or even both! Just need a bucket with CO2 to hold plants while um and er about the setup etc. Not sure my Erios will like that much though. Need to think it through.

The new tank will be snail free. [ famous last words ]

Very exciting Rebel! I'm a big fan of the double island layout, Amamo has done so many of these to an extremely high standard. Inspiration for days!

Smick tank and cabinet, you didn't happen to get it from thetechden. Saw this combo a while back for a great price (particularly the cabinet).

Most likely Chris. I have never grown it but suspect it's easier than HC in my hands. This tank will have fairly high light so I may have other issues in my hands.

I will update it tonight. It's a little overgrown but I must be the only one who likes the overgrown java look.

I got it locally and for a great deal! I have never seen a ADA cabinet in the flesh and still haven't. It's still in the packaging!

Great stuff Rebel. Looking forward to pics.

I think a single island would work well for this footprint.

Dantrasy that's a great inspiration. I need to control my collectoritis urges to achive this one. Not to mention get some serious skills. Maybe I will still try to incorporate the erios into the composition anyways.

Could it be Bolbitis? Cerapteris? They must have very high humidity.
