AQUARIUMLIFE - TANK OF THE YEAR AQUASCAPING COMPETITION

    Hi everyone, we are bringing back the end of year scaping competition (its been a while!);

People submit a photo of their scape, then members of the forum judge the winner via an anonymous poll.

past years can be viewed here:
    2007
    2008
    2009

A thread detailing rules and requirements will be posted over the next couple of weeks, at the moment we are looking at a submission date of the 31st of January 2016. Hopefully this gives you enough time to ready your scapes.

Feel free to ask any questions or comment in this thread.

Brilliant idea to kickstart Australian representation in the aquascaping arena! Those previous entries are brilliant!!

I also want to mention Grub's entry in 2007 which was full of style, grace and clarity. It's probably full of DAS (F2 or F3) these days.

Great to see the rebirth of the comp Solomon. I hope its not tooooooooo competitive so as many people as possible put up a photo - even if its a brilliantly executed photo of their "daily-driver" tank.

Great idea. Even if I don't enter I appreciate being to be able to look at bunch of 'scapes without having to trawl through posts.

Hmmm... that'll give me just enough time for my tacky tank to grow in!

I might. Depends what the rules are! I've got another nano I've been working on that I'd like to enter... Haven't posted it here yet because it's kinda tacky but its looking pretty cool. 3 words: Star. Wars. Lego.

I'll try update my flame moss thread with photos today

    Buhahaha!!

Dude star wars is awesome. When you add lego, then it takes it to the next level.

I am also thinking of doing an aquascape themed "The Martian".... may not need any plants for that....

That's a great idea! There are some very cool hardscape-only tanks around. Big plus is not having to wait for it to grow in
I used to have some red sand around too... I wonder where that went.

I am keen to know whether we can submit tanks in our journals?
