i have press. co2 and use my own home made pmdd (made from the recipe at the start of this thread, plus some Fe).
IMHO there is no need for EI, nor for pee, spit or any other ferts...
PMDD provides my tank with all the ferts it needs...

Great topic and have made the recipe you've posted to give a try starting today. Switching from EI dosing as I'm not running CO2 on the tank anymore.

Can I make a suggestiong to include PMDD in the title of the post? I almost missed this recipe.

May I ask, is the "Yates Trace Elements" from Bunnings okay to use eventhough does not say it is chelated?

Hey all,

just curious if this formula is safe for big fish like arowana?
I assume it should be since smaller fish is alive. But just wondering if there is any long term effect for arowana fish.
