    Hi Sweefu,

No I haven't been refused by a store, I'm being on the safe side and getting the cylinder tested as it is second hand.

I've asked Subscape Aquarium (Richmond) and Nature Aquarium (Mont Albert), and they both told me they didn't know where I could get C02 re-certified.

I'm planning on a planted tank, and keen on getting this bottle working.

    Hiya Welcome!
    Thats quality equipment.

Try scuba or fire extinguisher places for certification.

The price of recertification may not be worth the bother however....

I recall the KegKing CO2 bottles used to be very expensive as well. It seems like everyone is lowering their prices. What gives? It's good for us customers but these were almost double the price before with delivery.

It says its clearance though. I am worried that they are phasing them out forever.

Interesting. Maybe they are phasing out these cylinders and replacing them with newer ones?

Excluding KegKing and Kegland 2.6kg cylinders are still fairly expensive on eBay.

Yeah I am hoping that they replace them. My worry is that they are getting out of the co2 business altogether. Or their cylinders are going to be a whole lot more expensive. Could be some silly redtape coming through soon. Who knows.
