    Few queries
I would really like to know the size of the tanks if anyone knows.
What is the plant used as the tree top in 3rd place
And what type of moss is on the driftwood in the 1st place tank?

This competition was top shelf, some of the entries didn't get a vote were still awesome. To be in the top 3 is a great achievement well done guys your tanks are certainly world class.

This certainly raises the stakes as far as my tanks go. In 12 months i want to be in that top 3. Game on

I couldn't agree more from what others had said.
But I got to admit that it was a difficult decision when it comes
to voting, even some of the tanks that came 4th 5th or 6th were pretty damned good!!
    Congratulation boys!!

Default Beautiful and brilliant looking aquascapes

And i can't grow plants for anything (grumble grumble) well done to the top three.
I do have a question though that the mods might answer for me in that being fish tanks "why weren't there any fish in those tanks" there must be a place for actual bio-tope tanks with fish surely or even bare tanks ie. Xingu River etc...
I'm asking as i would like to consider my nugget tank for the next competition and that is a Xingu River tank (albeit course gravel - which does occur).

    Rohan,

this comp was "full tank shot" as its theme, and all of these tanks were that
There is an international competition , I think its AGA that do a Biotype tank competition.

One of our members here did very well in that competition a year or so back

Ok, i read up after i posted my second post here, perhaps for this year try one lot for planted tanks and one lot for fish tanks!
I'm only dropping an idea due to the site name i'm not complaining just thinking of a more rounded approach.
The fact that the top three are all beautiful looking tanks hasn't eluded me!

Ps. It isn't because i lack a green thumb in aquatic plants only the liscivious jealousy is lol.
