Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to subscribe to the ADA monthly Aquajournal magazine here in Australia? Either directly from ADA in Japan or from somewhere in Aust? I know its mostly in Japanese, however the pictures are amazing and I thought I would see if I can get a subscription.

Cheers,
Mark

I'd be interested in this also. I think I read somewhere that ADG in the US was setting up a subscription service that might be able to send to Australia.

Id be interested if we could get them for a decent price, maybe this could go in the group buy forum, i remember Shake asking one of the Senske brothers a while ago, and apparently if they (ADG) sell outside their country they can loose their contract with ADA.

Journals both old and new aswell as the english edition sets can be ordered through the Australian ADA distributor. Simply visit www.aquariumproductswholesale.com and place your order. A paid subscription should be able to be organised through them being the official oceania distributor listed at http://www.adana.co.jp/_e_distributor/#OCEANIA

I have received every order i have ever placed within the week as long as its in stock.

You can order as Brad mentioned above or order individual copies or a years subscription direct from ADA in Japan.

thanks for the link shake. So I hope I'm reading it right. About $115 for a 12 month subscription delivered. :D :D

Thanks Aquamx and Shake. I knew there would be a way!

I don't really want to order individual copies, so it looks like the credit card is going to take another hit for a 12 month subscription. :-)

Cheers,
Mark

I can attest to ordering direct thru the ADA website - I've been getting aquajournals for over a year now, and I had to renew recently - I originally organised my subscription thru a contact at ADA (who couldn't have been more helpful OR polite!), but this time I renewed online and it couldn't have been easier. Got the first mag about 3 weeks after. I also ordered some of Amano's pictorial works Sado (from the islands and te sea of japan) and his work fomr the river Negro. Somewhat expensive, but imo WELL worth it. They arrived within the fortnight.
And it pays to mention that the AU$ is performing quite well against the JPyen at the moment....
